Each ride is different in the hopes there will be something for everyone, but we never take the freeway and safety is aways our number one goal so you know whenever you ride with Sikk its gonna be a good day!
3rd Annual Sikk White Elephant Gift Exchange and Holiday Ride to the LAs Farmers Market
Mark your calendars because the Sikk White Elephant Gift Exchange and Holiday Ride to the LAs Farmers Market is coming up! Join us Saturday, December 21st for our 3rd annual White Elephant Gift Exchange! Participation is easy! Just bring a wrapped gift worth no more than $20 to the 930am meet up and you’re in! We will have hot coffee and tea as well as donuts to help get everyone sugared up for the ride afterwards! We will be returning to the famous LA Farmers Market and The Grove Shopping Center for lunch and maybe a little shopping as well! For those of you who maybe only want to join in for the ride, feel free to come by around 1130 in order to be ready for kick stands up at noon

Come celebrate the 23rd ANNUAL SBSC/VCSBLA "NAUGHTY BUT NICE" X-Mas Lights Scooter Ride & Party!!! (Yes, that's 23 years IN A ROW, Woohoo!!!)
Every year, the South Bay Scooter Club (and now also co-sponsored by the Vespa Club of South Bay Los Angeles) leads a scooter ride to and through the infamous Torrance neighborhood known as "Sleepy Hollow". This neighborhood goes all out to decorate their homes for the Holidays (they've been doing it for over 45+ years) and there are so many cars checking this place out that it is very prudent to go through it on scooters.
After going through the famous neighborhood, the ride heads to a restaurant in Redondo Beach for our annual South Bay Scooter Club Holiday Party!

There will be a prize and trophy given for the best holiday-decorated scooter, so dress 'em up in your best Holiday Spirit!!
All scooters are welcome and all are invited, so please come out and view the awesome lights.

Ride to the Manhattan Beach Holiday Fireworks Show
Join us for a quick ride into Manhattan Beach to enjoy the annual Holiday Fireworks display sponsored by Sketchers! Parking is always tough so be prepared for that and dress warm! Hot beverages are encouraged! Kick stands up at 6pm and showtime is at 7! Decorated scooters are always encouraged!
Spook N Skoot 7
This year join us for our first 2 Day Spook N Skoot Weekend! We are riding the 19th and 20th of October and will be kicking things off with a new event, the Shoreline Village Zombie Walk!
Saturdays ride will be an evening ride. Meet up will be at 5pm here at the shop with kick stands up around 615pm. We will take the back roads of Torrance to Anaheim into Long Beach where we will park at The Pike Outlets Parking Garage located at 65 Cedar Ave. This is a paid parking garage so paying is on you. From there we will walk to the Adult Area along Shoreline Village’s boardwalk for the fun and entertainment. More info about the zombie walk can be found at shorelinevillage.com.
On Sunday, Oct 20th we will be hosting our 7th annual Spook-N-Skoot where we ride to some of the coolest, most beautiful and some of the most dilapidated cemeteries in LA all while playing to see who has the best 5 card poker hand at the end of the ride!
We will meet up here at Sikk Skooters at 930am where participants will have the chance to buy into the poker run.
RULES FOR THE RUN The buy in is $10 and it is Cash only!!! Figure it out! We have 5 draws: 1 at Sikk when you buy in, 1 at each cemetery and the last one back at Sikk at the end of the ride. Best hand at the end WINS half the cash! If you lose your poker card you are disqualified!!!
Costume Contest ~ Best Decorated Scooter Contest
The theme is Beetlejuice so extra points will be awarded accordingly The costume contest will be at the Inglewood Park Cemetery and we will do the judging for best decorated scooter at Hollywood Forever
We will be doing the scavenger hunt on Instagram again this year so make sure you’re following us! SCAVENGER HUNT RULES You must be following us on instagram to be eligible We will post one image per cemetery as we arrive. The first one to find it in person, post it to their stories and tag us wins a prize! Prizes and awards will be handed out at the of the ride at during our Halloween Party back at the shop! Swerve N Curve 24 Hosted By The South Bay Scooter Club
It’s that time of year again: Swerve N Curve 24! We will be hosting a meet up before the official meet up at our shop from 10-10:45am. Whether it’s your first one or your 21st we welcome all riders and encourage you to show up looking Sikk! Kick stands up will be at 11am and then straight to the crossroads!

We will only be doing the big Saturday SWERVE 'N' CURVE ride, on September 14th. There will be no Friday or Sunday ride this year.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14th:
Meet at 11am, at the Torrance Crossroads parking lot, in front of the Gen Korean restaurant, at Crenshaw & Lomita Blvds. Please gas up before the ride as we will not be stopping for gas on the route.
12noon (KSU): Ride leaves.
We will have to do an alternate route this year, as you may or may not know that the city of Palos Verdes has prohibited two-wheeled vehicles from traversing Portugese Bend, since the road has been shifting too much. Rest assured, we will still have a great ride through and or around the PV Penninsula. End spot to be determined (hoping to end it at Brouwerij West again but still waiting to hear).
RALLY PACKS: I will be posting a link to order the Rally Shirts. They will be available ONLINE ONLY - there will be none for sale at the event. Stickers and pins will be for sale at the event, however.
Sorry we cannot have our usual activities this year, but the plans have already started for our big 25th Anniversary SWERVE 'N' CURVE Rally for next year, where we will go all out. Hope to see you for this year's ride, though. Thanks for all of your support over the past 24 years!
Sikk Summer Nights: Movies in the Park: Kung Fu Panda 4
Come join Sikk Skooters and the gang as we enjoy our 3rd annual ride to go see a free movie screening in the park! This year we will be revisiting Wilson Park in Torrance for their viewing of Kung Fu Panda 4 on Saturday August 17th!
Meet up will be at 5pm at Sikk Skooters with an estimated departure time of 530pm for a fun and easy ride through the beach cities on our way to the Torrance Crossroads Vons for a quick stop for snacks and hot chocolate. From there we will arrive at the park in time to park and set up our outdoor seating for the evening.
Showtime is at approximately 745pm
This is a great opportunity to invite non scootering friends to a Sikk event and for new group riders to see how we roll!
Sikk Summer Nights: Ride to Griffith Observatory
We are excited to bring back our Sikk Summer Night Rides and we are kicking things off with a bang! This month we are going to ride to Hollywood for dinner at @doomies @doomiesnextmex and then we will ride up to the Griffith Observatory to explore the grounds and the attractions until the main attraction, watching the sunset from on top off the Hollywood Hills into the Pacific Ocean. From there we will take Vermont all the back down ending the ride back at the shop. Make sure you come gassed up and ready to go as there will be no fuel stops along the way!

We are extremely excited to ANNOUNCE we have teamed up with DROWSPORTS to bring COFFEE, MINIS & SWAPMEET Saturday JULY20th from 7am-12pm!
WE WILL also be a RAFFLING off a Met at this event! With 2nd & 3rd Prize winners!

2024 June Vespa Day Parade
It’s that time of year again for the National Vespa Day Parade 2024! This year we are keeping it simple by joining The Vespa Club of South Bay and @southbayscooterclub for a fun ride through the beach cities while promoting the Vespa lifestyle and general motorcycle awareness! This is a Vespa brand focused event, but all scooters are welcome! We will open the shop at 10am, but plan on leaving closer to 1145am for the short ride to Target in Manhattan Beach for the official meet up. Hope to see you all there!
June Sikk Ride to Old Town Orange
Join us on Saturday, June 15th for our Sikk June Ride to Old Town Orange for a fun afternoon picnicking in the park and exploring some of the local attractions in the historic part of Orange County! If picnicking isn’t your thing there are tons of local eateries, bars and bakeries! We will meet up at 930am at Sikk and plan to leave for the OC around 10. Make sure you’re gassed up and ready to go!
4/20 Ride to Bob’s Big Boy
Come join Sikk Skooters for a fun and scenic ride through the Santa Monica mountains via Mulholland and Coldwater Canyon on our way to the famous Bobs Big Boy in Burbank where we will stop for lunch and then possibly make our way over to Halloween Town down the street from the Mystic Museum in honor of the fact that we are halfway to Halloween! Meet up will be at Sikk Skooters at 930am with kick stands up at 10am. With the twist and turns of the mountain routes we recommend that this is a 125cc and up ride and is best suited for experienced riders. This ride is approximately 60 miles round trip so come gassed up as there are no stops on the way to Burbank.
Ride to Old World Village
Join us Saturday March 16th at Sikk Skooters at 930 am (kick stands up at 10) We’re going old skool and heading to Old World Village this month with @mikeytrip and @sikk_wit_it_1 as special guest planners and Mikey taking the lead! Get ready for a fun ride over the Vincent Thomas Bridge and down PCH to Huntington Beach where we will stop for food and some fun at Old World Village and then head back to the South Bay
Be Our Valentines Ride
We love you guys so much we wanted to invite you to be our Valentine this year! We will take you out on a ride around some of the most scenic drives throughout the beach cities, we will be wined and dined at our romantic picnic lunch and we will end the day by stopping at a local sweet shop for some treats. Our theme is Romancing the Ordinary so dress up! Bring your fanciest picnic basket and tableware and let’s appreciate the beauty of friendship, scooters and beautiful SoCal beaches! And just to be clear you will need to bring your own lunch and buy your own treats! So make this a treat yo self kinda day and come have fun!
4th Annual Veganuary Ride to Seabirds Kitchen Costa Mesa CANCELLED
It’s that time of year again where we share one of favorite vegan restaurants with all of you! This year we decided to venture all the way to Costa Mesa to check out Seabirds Kitchen. Their super clean plant based menu is chocked full off flavor and will satisfy meat eater or vegan alike! Meet up at Sikk at 930am for a prompt kick stands up at 10am. We will travel PCH primarily through Long Beach and into the OC so this will be for those comfortable going over 60mph and lane splitting if traffic is too heavy. We will be riding approximately 70 miles round trip so make sure you gas up before the ride.
Sikk Summer Nights: So Long to Summer Ride
Come join Sikk Skooters on Saturday, September 16th, as we say farewell to our Sikk Summer Night rides with a sunset ride down Sunset and Hollywood Blvd. Meet up will be at 230pm and the adventure will begin at 330 where we will ride up La Brea to the famous Trejos Tacos for dinner before cruising up San Vicente to the world famous Sunset Strip and Hollywood Blvd! This will be one of our most iconic rides yet so make sure you mark your calendars!!
Sikk Summer Nights: Movies in the Park: Super Mario Bros
Come join Sikk Skooters for a fun night of scooting, snacking and a Sikk flick! We will meet up at Sikk Skooters at 6pm and plan to start our tour of Torrance around 630pm. We will ride around the biggest city in the South Bay checking out some of the best views, neighborhoods and local landmarks. We will then ride somewhere for movie snacks and and head to Wilson Park for the Super Mario Bros Movie! Make sure to bring any chairs/blankets or any other creature comforts you might need to enjoy the film. Afterwards we will head back to the shop to call it quits!
Ride to Bike Shed Moto Co
For Junes Sikk Ride we will be going back to The Bike Shed! We will have our usual meet up and kick stands up by 10am then off to brunch at the bike shed and from there we will continue to explore some of DTLA and work the 6th St Bridge in there too! We have a reservation set so please rsvp and let us know if you’re coming
2nd Annual Veganuary Ride 2023
We are proud to be hosting our second annual Veganuary ride, where once a year we get to introduce you to some of our favorite vegan food and answer your questions about veganism! This month we will be riding down to Long Beach to visit one of our favorite vegan dupes Plant Powered Fast Food for their Big Zac, Milk Shake and Iconic Fries. We will take a scenic route through the beach cities, over the bridge and into Long Beach. From there we will mosey through the streets to the LBC until we get to our destination, have lunch and then head back towards the South Bay and the shop! Meet up is at 930 and kick stands up at 10! Hope to see you all there!!
6th St Bridge Ride
Come join Sikk Skooters as we ride across the 6th St Bridge into DTLA, where we will stop for lunch at Wurstküche (parking is all metered or there are private pay to park lots so make sure you bring parking money) After lunch we will head straight back to the South Bay. This is a pretty straightforward ride with no other stops along the route
The 5th Annual Spook-N-Skooter Cemetery Poker Run
Come Join Sikk Skooters for our 5th Annual Halloween Spook-N-Skoot Scooter Rally! This year we’re mixing things up a bit by doing a Cemetery Poker Run! There will be at $20 buy in to play and we will visit multiple cemeteries along our route. Everyone who joins the poker run will be given a card at each stop and the person with the best 5 card poker hand at the end of the ride will win half the pot! We will also be doing our annual costume contest, best decorated scooter contest as well as a Raffle with really exciting prizes! We will end the ride back at Sikk Skooters where all the festivities will take place and free food will be served. This year should be epic so we hope to see you all there! This years raffle doners include Motorcycles For Tall Riders Now!, The Scooter Zine, Ruckus Republic and our friend Tony Zan from Yer Cheatin Heart in Hermosa. Swerve'N'Curve 22
We are planning on having a meet up be before the meet up to the 22nd annual Swerve’N”Curve. We are asking everyone, especially our patched members, to wear their Sikk gear and meet up at the shop before head so we can all ride in together and make a memorable entrance. Event info to come. Ride Across the Vincent Thomas and Gerald Desmond Bridges
Come join us at Sikk Skooters on Saturday, August 20th at 930am as we revisit one of our favorite routes through the Beach Cities, PV and San Pedro across the epic Vincent Thomas and newly opened Gerald Desmond Bridges into Long Beach where we will pass by the Queen Mary, through Belmont Shores and across the Island of Naples where we will finally end at the Long Beach Exchange Retail for lunch at the converted hanger turned food court! We will have a few short stops along the way for photo ops and after lunch we will head back to the shop in order to escort the group back to the South Bay. 125cc and above is recommended for getting across the bridges and due to the large open eating area picnic lunches will also suffice. Hope to see everyone there!
Sikk Night Ride: Movies in the Park: Luca
We are mixing things up this month with a night ride to Rancho Palos Verdes for their free Movies in the Park screening of Luca! “Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, Disney and Pixar's original feature film "Luca" is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides.” Meet up is at 6pm at Sikk Skooters. From there we will plan to leave the shop at around 630pm and take the coast to the Trader Joe’s/Starbucks on the corner of Hawthorne Blvd and PV Blvd West where we can stop and stock up on hot chocolates and movie snacks. After that we will head up Hawthorne Blvd to the RPV Civic Center located at 30904 Hawthorne Blvd where the movie will be showing. Remember to bring blankets, chairs or whatever else you will need to be able to be comfortable watching the movie outside on the grass. The movie is advertised to start 15 mins after sunset so we’re guessing around 815pm. Once the movie ends we will head straight back down Hawthorne and back to the shop.
Ride to Bike Shed Moto Co in DTLA
Join us for a fun ride to the new Bike Shed Moto Co in DTLA. We will start the ride like all others, at the shop at 930am. We plan to leave promptly at 10am and we will cruise down to the beach to enjoy the beautiful scenic views the South Bay has to offer. From there we will take Jefferson into Culver City where we will make our first stop at the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook, where on a clear day you can see all the way to the ocean. From there we will continue on Jefferson, through USC and into downtown for lunch at the Bike Shed. We actually have a reservation for 25 at 1130am so please RSVP if you intend on EATING, no need to RSVP to the event if you just wanna come and hang out or are planning on bouncing once we make it to our main destination. From there we will head down Florence Ave to the Inglewood Park Cemetery for a quick ride though the grounds and some epic views of the SoFi Stadium. Afterwards we will head back to the shop via Prairie Ave to get an even better view of the new buildings and the Forum, of course. Half Way to Halloween Ride to the Mystic Museum
In order to celebrate that we’re half way to Halloween we will be visiting the Mystic Museum in Burbank for the launch of their 90’s Slasher Immersive Experience. It will include food trucks, an art show and photo ops. Tickets are $16 and parking may be tricky! Meet up at Sikk Skooters at 930am on Saturday April 16th. We plan to leave at 10am and will head straight there and straight back. Should be fun and Spooky!
Ride to the Balboa Island Ferry
Come join Sikk Skooters on Saturday, March 19th, as we continue on our transportation themed rides! This month we are going down south to Newport Beach to take a ride on the famous Balboa Island Ferry! We will meet at our usual spot, Sikk Skooters, located at 4491 153rd St in Lawndale at 930 am and plan to hit the road around 10. We will have a second meet up spot/rest stop at 11am at Dunkin Donuts located at 5560 E 7th St in Long Beach where out LB/OC friends will have a chance to join in the fun! From there we will continue south and head to Peninsula Park for a picnic lunch (make sure you bring one!) After lunch we will take the Ferry to Balboa Island ($1.75 per scooter) and then cross back over to the main land and head back towards the South Bay. We will have a fuel stop/strech break again on the way back so not to worry! This ride will be approximately 90 miles round trip and we highly recommend 125/150cc or higher for this ride as we will be doing speeds of 55mph+ on stretches of the coast. Ride to the Angels Flight and Grand Central Market
For our first ride to DTLA we decided to visit the historic Angels Flight Railway for a fun trip up the shortest railway in the world! After that we will go across the street to the famous Grand Central Market for lunch and tons of great photo ops! We will be parking at a near by public parking lot. Parking is $4 per bike and the Angels Flight is $1 each way. Please try and bring exact change. We will meet up at the shop at 9:30, leave around 10am and take Figueroa all the way down. This ride will be approximately 35 miles round trip! This one will be fun!
Veganuary Ride to LB Vegan District
On Sat January 15th please join us for our first annual Veganuary ride promoting the idea of incorporating more plant based eating into your regular diet. We will ride through the South Bay to the Pike Outlets in Long Beach where the Vegan District is located for an afternoon of food and fun. This isn’t your grandmas vegan food either! With all types of food available from junk food to international cuisine, to baked good to comfort food and they’re may be some healthy stuff too! We hope you all will open your minds to the concept and your hearts to the animals and join us for a fun new tradition that may become a new way of life.
